This will ajaxify your website. All the front end links will turns to ajaxify.
This saved me what could have (and no doubt would have) ended up being a ton of work. Works great in my theme, which is a modified version of the Twenty-Twelve theme.
Note that if you install it on a network site, it will affect EVERY site. You can, however, set the entire page container as a "no ajaxify" area under the settings page by simply adding the theme's main container ID to the "No ajax container IDs:" list.
Thanks a ton to the developer!
If anyone else doesn't like the scroll down effect when new content loads, you can simply comment out the following lines in "[wordpress]/wp-content/plugins/ajaxify-wordpress-site/js/ajaxify.js".
Found at line 142-145:
//Scroll to the top of ajax container
Works for me with no configuration in Twenty Fourteen and is super fast. Nice plugin!
I'm enthusiastic about this plugin. I were looking for such a thing and thought if somebody has developed it he had to call it Ajaxify WordPress. Wow, exactly this name and exactly what I want. And it is better as described, you can use more than one menu classe for example.
Only one suggestion for prettyness: let fade away the old content and fade in the new one without blank page between it if possible.
Thank you for this plugin
Big hug from Brazil, It's work fine with my WP and my Theme.
Tested on WP 3.5.1. I understand that you wanted to make the website load faster however with your app the pages during refresh or new load stall from 5-10 seconds, and the performance worsened significantly. I guess you should work more on testing at the moment, and we are waiting for new updated release, then we will change feedback :)
easiest plugin I've used for putting ajax where you need it.
However, I had to stop using it as I experienced an issue with the no ajax div still getting ajax every other page load. So I see in the change log this issue may have been fixed, so I'm excited to try it again!
Love this plugin, it just works, doesn't break SEO URLs. The only niggle is that the list of recent comments widget just does nothing when you click on the link (using 2012 theme)
Still, that's not gonna stop me from using it!
Also as a note, the no ajax contairer ID box insists on insertin tabs before and after each ID (doesn't break anything though)
I tried some of the other highly-rated plugins but they were kludgey in my theme which is based on pinboard. This one did the trick!
