A powerful ajax search engine for WordPress.
please use something else than timthumb since it has had few bad security flaws in its history and is not supported anymore (see binarymoon.co.uk - Timthumb end life).
You could provide custom image size selection instead and use post thumbnail.
Also, ralated to this there is a bug in the code: usetimthumb caching option isn't checked thus preventing using something else.
This plugin I've been using for a while. I just updated to the newest version. Insane improvements, keep it up!
I don't know why its not showing on my navigation bar.
it does work in posts
<body> <!-- Header --> <section> <div class="navbar navbar-inverse navbar-static-top"> <div class="container"> <?php echo do_shortcode('[wpdreams_ajaxsearchlite'); ?> ....
Amazing work! The plugin is very easy to use and has lots of features. Just what I needed! Thank you!
I've been using the previous versions on some of my projects. I recently updated to version 3 and I'm stunned by the new features. Thank you very much for this plugin!
I have the ajax search lite plugin and i am really pleased with it.
There is only one thing i would love to change.
My whole site is written in dutch, and the option box of the search bar is in english.
I've been trying to change the text of this into dutchh. I changed the following code:
$options['asl_defaults']['exactmatchestext'] = "Exact matches only";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinpoststext'] = "Search in posts";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinpagestext'] = "Search in pages";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchintitletext'] = "Search in title";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchincontenttext'] = "Search in content";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchincommentstext'] = "Search in comments";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinexcerpttext'] = "Search in excerpt";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinbpuserstext'] = "Search in users";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinbpgroupstext'] = "Search in groups";
$options['asl_defaults']['searchinbpforumstext'] = "Search in forums";
this code is located in: /ajax-search-lite/backend/settings/default_options.php
I also tried to change a few things in the /ajax-search-lite/backend/tabs/instance/general_options.php
But none of those seemed to work. I even deleted every thing in those files, uploaded to the site, and the search bar still worked...
Can somebody please help me with this?
The following link is an screenshot of a dummy site i created in which i could change it and that is how i want to have it.
Please help me!
I'm really psyched about all the improvements. Being able to exclude some pages by id number is the best feature for me because of the numerous image galleries on the website I work on.
I could go into the excellent interactive admin screen and other stuff, but I'll just show my appreciation with my donation.
I'll be looking into getting the paid version soon.
Thanks again! It's awesome.
I've been using this for a while, but this new version is just pure awesomeness. Highly recommended!
