<-------solution for woocommerce--------->

Hello,

this plugin is basically made for the wordpress search. This plugin does have features of pro plugins and works perfectly. To make it to work for woocommerce project I advice to replace your default "search.php" with the "product-archive.php" (this file you will find in woocommerce folder).

you need to consider two things
1) styling of this page
2) renaming of product-archive.php to search.php

note:
after doing this you wont be able to use wordpress default functionality.

I request wpdreams to keep this comment alive so that others will also get benefited.

searching posts works fine, searching pages doest work :((

Hi,

at first I would like to thank you for the Plugin. It looks really nice, but I have a problem with the search in pages.

I have created a testpage with a textsection (some words like "Testside"). After saving and publishing the testpage, I inserted the shortcode ([wpdreams_ajaxsearchlite] )in my sidebar. At first glance everthing looks fine, but when I try to search "Testside" I get a "No results" notification.
When I search posts everything works fine.

Can anyone tell me what's going wrong? In the general options of the Plugin I set the "Search in posts" and "Search in pages" to "on". There are no problems when I am searching posts, but pages the plugin do not find. It would be great if someone can help me in this case.

Best regards

Not working
By , for WP 4.1.1

simply not working on pages, only on posts.
finds abslutely NOTHING on static pages not a single word.

also: the author seems to have only rudimentary knowledge about programing and/or wp, judging by the questions he asked.
is the word in the DB? YES, if its on a page entered in the backend its in the DB! made me look it up in the actual db....

after helping the admin for hours with input from my site his final words where:

Everythink looks fine, which is good.

mind you, at this point NOTHING worked and NO ISSUE had been solved.

I dont know how this guy can sell a "pro" version if the free one doesnt even work .... miracles
