As per twitter API 1.1 developer display requirements policy new version is updated. PLEASE DO NOT USE OLDER VERSIONS.
Really this is the best plugin.
There are a few little quirks that crop up when I use it (like @@TWITTERNAME next to the Twitter name) - that I can scrub out with CSS. But for getting something up and running quickly, this is the best I've found.
It`s works fine with 4.0 version also.
It works for me
It`s works fine with 3.8.1 version
Thank you so much for this plugin! This was about as ridiculously easy to set up as they come. Your instructions were really clear, there wasn't a lot of stupid back-end stuff (like every facebook plugin I've had the misfortune of using), and the feed looks beautiful! Your styling is so minimalistic that it looks very natural on the page with the rest of my site.
In the installation instructions it says:
"Place PHP code '< ? php do_shortcode("[AIGetTwitterFeeds ai_username='Your Twitter Name(Without the "@" symbol)' ai_numberoftweets='Number Of Tweets' ai_tweet_title='Your Title']"); ? >' to display twitter feeds in your page template."
KEY DETAIL: <?php ECHO do_shortcode... ?>
Don't forget the ECHO!
That one bent my brain for a few minutes... Now that it's working, LOVE it.
Great Plugin of tweeter feed.nice to use it.
After Twitter changed their API, I tested a BUNCH of plugins trying to provide the same functionality as the previous plugin I had used. The developer of the previous one wanted to charge me extra to do what it had done before. Then I found this plugin. I needed something that was flexible...not just a sidebar widget, but something I could use as primary page content. This plugin did exactly what I needed and was really easy to implement. When I contacted August Infotech for some layout/positioning support, they quickly helped resolve my problem and released a new version of the plugin to specifically address my issue! You can't ask for better service than that!
