autoplays regardless of setting
By , for WP 4.3.1

autoplay="no" doesn't work.

Author rudely states he has stated several times it does not work? I went through first 10 pages of forum and saw nothing.

Switching immediately.

The best available - improved site performance
By , for WP 4.3.1

I went through all the similar plugins and the only one that is compatible with my complex theme is ARVE. It even works within a tab that is within a column. I have had it installed for months now and I liked it so much that I donated to its development.

I am writing this review since I see some people have bashed it since the developer integrated a paid version.

1. I got the pro version for free using the coupon provided by the developer via a notification within the WordPress dashboard.

2. It took about 10 minutes including settings afterwards. (You register an account at https://nextgenthemes.com to download the pro version. I did it by clicking "MyAccount"->"Lost password"->"Register" [The site is in development...])

3. This is awesome, thanks so much. The plugin improved my website speed a great deal.

Don't like the auto-updates
By , for WP 4.2.4

Appreciate the free app, but don't like the auto-updates that keep crashing all my website posts.

Easy to use. No nonsense!

Installed, activated and works. No futzing around.

From hero to zero

Suddendly free features of plugin removed and you forced to buy premium add-ons. Site broken no videos just crappy error message.

I somehow managed to find older version of this plugin laying around, since it's published under GPL license you can download and use it as pleased from here:

PSS: Bump the version to avoid update notifications.

Shady practices
By Plugin Author, for WP 4.2.3

Actually you are wrong, I displayed a message to users about this update coming, that it will be mandatory ...

Also I guide people to the old version and on top of that I even give the Pro Addon out for FREE to legacy users!.

You however:

Now that the developer has taken that option away unless you pay for the plugin
make it sound like people have to pay. The truth is I actually saw things like this happening on other plugins and carefully tryed to aviod people think I have done this. But I cant account for morons who are to lazy to read.

But of course some hater who is to stupid to read comes along and makes false claims. I actually expected this and expect more of your kind come along. I am so sorry for not want to live from state money and actually get payed for my work. I know I am so evil for taking money. So sorry for having a extremely long beta period where I invited people to test and planned this release carefully ... oh fuck off!

Simply Awesome !!
By , for WP 4.2.3

I've tested at least 10 other plugins from the same genre myself ... this is by far the best I've come across. Simply perfect! Does everything I need it to do and more. This is definitely worth paying for ... Thanx a bunch.

Doesn't work
By , for WP 4.2.2

I use both YouTube and Daily Motion videos. Plug in did not work for either of them.

Very annoying banner
By , for WP 4.2.2

While testing the plug-in in my freetime (and I have not much freetime) there comes a banner with the message that I need to donate. If I use plugins for WP I will buy them or pay for a donationn. What's irritating me, is the way of contacting me after a few days testing. Also if you click tyhe "Ignore", there is a modification of the admin.php by adding code after admin.php

This is a very low way of trying to get a donation. Getting a white screen after clicking "Ignore" This plugin and his developer(s) are blacklisted.

Stop struggling with video embeds
By , for WP 4.2.2

I struggled trying to make my default video embeds sized and responsive (I always try to do things without plugins whenever possible.) But after I had exhausted all my efforts, I tried this plugin and it just did everything I needed in an instant. Even after I picked it apart and figured out how to create a responsive container myself without the plugin, I still ran into small issues with the default sizing and decided to use the plugin instead. I simply was not able to hack my way to the same elegance that this plug in provides. I hereby concede.

This plugin is great. Totally does what it says.
