Simply to use and it has a lot of awesome features (especially for a free plugin). The reason I don't give it 5 stars and I say "almost" perfect, is that sometimes I find in the content preview a whole or a part of an AdSense banner of the page/post, that's not good ;)
This is a great slider. Full functionality and editing especially for a free version. Only one request, add filtering for the slider to include tags not just categories.
would like to be able to instruct it to show all posts from a certain category. That way authors would not have to go into the control area of the slider.
One thing that might be improved:
On page load you briefly see all different posts (Template 3). Then all but first are hidden. Can probably done better.
This is a great plugin, much needed :)
I have installed this plugin in two sites and both are having some weird functions.
Basically the height of the slider is way too long when all content parts are chosen in template 3 standard type. And when only the thumbnail, excerpt and title are chosen the height is not customizable.
It would work better if the height was customizable too. I am not sure how it sizes the height. It seems it goes with the height of longer images that is used in one of the posts!
Also it would be nice if the featured image had its own div and was set to fixed width and height, so the slides were all having the same layout and content not moving right and left with different size images.
Maybe I am missing something in the setup?
saying all that, I am still grateful for creation of this plugin, great job, thanks :))))
Extremely well made plugin, tho not for everybody.
Thankyou for such a great free plugin really helped me out ***** 4 stars*****
One thing I'd like to see is the ability to turn off the slider/animation/looping so you could put several on one page as a post excerpt gallery. I know you can work around it by using 1 slide and playing with the speed, pause settings and chossin no for autoplay but a simple on/off would be nice.
That and sizing things is a bit querky re: thumbnail size, container width, slide width settings in relation to each other. Maybe I'll find it explained, somewhere, someday.
Other than that it's slick, quick and works smoothly unlike many others.
