Not working well
By , for WP 4.4.2

Issues with front-page hiding of pages.

Great plugin but poorly executed
By , for WP 4.4.2

There are quite some issues with this plugin, particularly with AJAX component which seems to be pretty darn slow. You cannot figure out whether the plugin has frozen or its taking time to execute. Hopefully that improves soon. Otherwise, it does pretty much what it says and is quite handy.

Wait for few days before updating this plugin, chances are it might have issues with new releases.

Basic Plugin Good but Premium Not so Good
By , for WP 4.2.2

I have been happy with the basic plugin which I have used on several websites. SO much so that I decided to purchase several of the premium extensions. I have yet to get the premium extensions to install and have received no response from support after 3 emails. Bottom line is support seems to not exist and premium content doesn't work.

Worst Experience
By , for WP 4.1

After installing this plugin My Plugin menu disappeared and now I don't have option to delete the plugin even. Then I deleted the plugin from ftp. But still no Plugin menu where I have administrator access.

Need to Mature
By , for WP 3.9.1

Apart from all the positive reviews, this plugin (free version) did not solved my problem (restrict posts, pages and categories by user/groups). I consider it a basic function for any called "access manager". Hiding the panel is cool, but just a feature, not an main function. The plugin admin interface is kinda confuse. Anyway thanks for the effort, but the free version needs to get better.

Great limited features, nice UI, but a hidden fee for extra features
By ,

I was excited with the plugin at first look, the UI looked nice. But once, I realized that for the necessary extra features you have to pay $30, uninstalled it. Also, you can only apply 5 restrictions for a free version. this is way too limited.

Totally locked me out!
By , for WP 3.8.1

Activated AAM on a client site, it asked me if it should migrate existing data for upgrade, I said yes. Now, as admin i cannot do anything... settings, plugins, themes, layouts, widgets ... locked out of most all areas. I cannot get help, i cannot figure it out. I am screwed and wish I had never installed this plugin. Be very careful.

See my subsequent post. Author contacted me over the weekend and I used a fix.php to restore all my admin capabilities. works fine now.

Good Plugin
By , for WP 3.7.1

I've been looking for a plugin to customize access for user roles on my wp sites. This plugin is very easy to use but I have an issue with users not being able to edit categories. Other that that this plugin is just what I need.

Great But...
By ,

This plugin works great and does EVERYTHING I could ever ask for, BUT it slows down my site load time by like 38% which is really bad. Sorry guys, I have to find a new one.
