Used on over a hundred thousand websites and by even more people! With over a million downloads AdRotate is the popular choice for monetizing your web
This used to be a great plug in, simple to use yet powerful.
But every time I get an update now I feel my heart sink and my palms get sweaty. Which way are they going to break it this time? How long is it going to take me to fix?
Every. Single. Time. I end up spending a good thirty minutes googling and reading changelogs to find out what they've changed (for no reason) and undoing it just to get my ads back.
Stop it. Seriously.
Updates kill my code work ewerytime!
Textadds not displaying correctly anymore :-(
New version nothing like the old one, which actually did what it said it would do. You blew it, Arnan.
Yeah, but I mean, I feel like if pay I will be cheated to buy it.
When I purchase a premium version, I do it because it offers me something more than the free version. But your Pro version now offers something more only because you have reduced the functionality of free version.
This plugin used to be first class... but now it's useless.
And one of the worst thing : the latest update made all my Ads expired for ZERO reason. And unfortunately I only saw this a few weeks later, having lost quite a few hundreds $.
Now I'm looking for an alternative and I will NEVER USE THIS DEVELOPER PLUGIN ANYTIME SOON.
Sorry to bee so harsh but this plugin - in special meaning the pro-version - is not worth the money.
Every update brings some problems like no more click-tracking, then all ads are deactivated, you have to keep your pro-version update-to-date by yourself (not automatic updates, no messages) and the help in the forum is more or less not helpful.
The good thing: it shows ads, rotates them and should count clicks when fully working. But this depends on the version.
My resume: if you need a plugin to really track all impressions, clicks and stable enough to sell ads to clients - don't buy the pro version. Use another plugin.
It's just not what I was looking for.
i totally agree with other reviewers complaining on the mean business practice: what was offered for free now has been removed and charged for. this is mean. i feel stupid now to have contributed with tips on their forum... shame...
It seemed to be a good plugin, but then logged back in to manage an add and discovered that all of the functionality had been stripped. I'll find another solution. It's one thing if the pro version offered NEW features or if the free included a trial of pro/etc, but to take features OUT of the free version is unacceptable. I'd recommend anyone looking to look elsewhere.
