This plugin does not appear to work with Gravity Forms. When you create a custom link for a menu, a new sub-menu is generated and the original menu link (in our case a Gravity Form menu) still displays. So there does not appear to be a way to successfully modify the links within our menu in order to prevent the user from clicking deeper into the back-end from the URL shared with them. Also, it appears that when using this plugin when you hide a menu from displaying it restricts the users access not just to the menu but to the content itself. We just want to menu to be hidden from view.
I think this plugin is a must for whom like to organize all stuff and it's really good!
Have used this plugin with a mixed level of success.
Currently trying to get it to work with the free Lifter LMS plugin (from the WordPress repository) - Am trying to modify the Lifter LMS settings (using Admin Menu Editor) so that it's main options are accessible for "Editors" in the backend of WordPress - have therefore changed the relevant capabilities in the plugin settings panel from manage_options to delete_others_pages. No matter what I do I cannot get these settings to display for editors in the backend. Can anyone help please?
You get lost in the menu, until you get to know Admin Menu Editor.
Great plugin & must have. Great added value even just with the free version.
The Perfect !
It works perfectly and saves me a lot of time.
Thank you for great plugin.
Have used this plugin on every client site.
It works really well.
I tried a different admin menu manager plugin before, but I like this one here much better.
This plugin is very useful if you have a few dozen plugins installed and want to bring order into chaos and arrange all the admin menu items the way you want.
Another great feature is that you can hide unwanted menu items which is very handy!
Hey folks, hands-down this is the most incredible admin menu editor plugin I have ever had my eyes on. The Admin Menu Editor Pro (Personal) version [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ] gives you the ability to show/hide admin menu items of all of your user roles.
An example: Modify a user role like the "editor" and choose the selections that will enable editing the users own posts but not delete or edit others or private posts.
This plugin drills down to the lowest level of all other plugin menus - giving you full control of what each plugin does. Simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!
Kudos for the thought put into this plugin, let alone the challenges the Janis Elsts(developer) faced and overcame.
One Word description: Powerful
Works like a charm, as advertised.
Would be cool to see the plugin's admin pages as tabs in the actual menus section.
