Working with small associations in Benin who barely have an internet connection, I needed a WP plugin that would allow their posts on my blog to disseminate well on the Internet. Facebook is the obvious social network for that purpose, and I must say that Bockhorst's application totally meets my needs.
There's been a warning on my WordPress home page I don't understand, asking me to rate it. I hope now that I've rated it, the -- annoying - warning will go away.
But I already have problems to authorize the plugin
The developer has stopped supporting this app unless you send him a contribution. That goes contrary to everything related to open source ethics. Therefore, despite a good ap, it gets 1 star from me. I refuse to donate to a project that I can't get working in the first place.
There appears to be a conflict between the ap and WordPress now, which interferes with authorization on facebook.
The error is as follows:
[sensitive data redacted] — Mod edit
It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Now using the plugin on another WP website and it is functioning well. Raised my rating to three stars. Still miffed that the developer won't provide support until after one donates. Still thinking about whether I'll donate or not.
How can I rate it before I use it?
App requests rating immediately.
Seems pretty good, possibly a 5, lots of control. But have to see how well it really works before I can give it a positive rating.
I am using the updated the version, and I find it's perfectly compatible with WordPress 3.5; that I do need. However, I find now it's too clunky, and offers too many services, rather than the simple, "Post to Facebook".
