 *  I solved this, there was an issue with the query loop. It needs to be set to
   Post as by default it’s set to Page.

 * It’s hosted on my own website. according to the instructions in the page I linked,
   it says to click on the instagram widget. for me, there is not an instagram widget.
   so I’m wondering if the instructions on the instagram support page fail to mention
   that I first have to download one, or if I’m missing a component that should 
   be bundled in the software by default.

 * WordPress support directed me here. is this an unresolved loop or is there seriously
   no place to download what seems to be a native component of the software?
