 * For interested parties. Solution of my (and maybe similar problems) was to check
   headers of oembed feed. I didn’t notice that my headers where little different
   that in RFC 🙂 Fixing them helped me with my problem.

 * Can you tell me what files where empty? I did install both versions of this plugin
   in wordpress 3.5.2, via wordpress and git. And in both case I have the same error,
   Call to undefined function the_field().
