 * I am sorry if Iseem to be missing the obvious, there will probably be a lightbulb
   moment soon. I appreciate your patience.
 * OK I read the entire page and several of the related links. I have scanned te
   code for the obvious files in the wp folder. I can not find where the semilogic
   template is calling for the archive.
 * I am using a sidear widget to display the archive, but there has to be a call
   for it somewhere.

 * Thanks for the clarification. I understand the concept, explaining it was another
   matter.
 * More specifically, there is no switch in wordpress itself for determining archive
   display options? I will have to delve into the PHP right?
 * I am an extreme novice at PHP.
