 * Hi Marko,
 * thanks for your answer. It’s the CSS minifyer. The issue vanishes when I disable
   it. The minify method was set to “Combine & Minify”. When I set it to “Minify
   only”, the problem also disappears.

 * A different browser is of no use. Same problem there.
 * I tried the Health Check plugin but this is not working. There’s a troubleshooting
   mode, I can enter and in the beginning, I was able to play around with enabling
   and disabling various plugins in this mode. But then, suddenly, it stopped working.
   Now, I am not able to leave troubleshooting mode anymore (except for cleraing
   cookies) and also enabling plugins in troubleshooting mode does not work anymore.
   If I click on the corresponding button or links, the site refreshes, but that’s
   it. Nothing happens, nothing changes. Plugins stay disabled.

 * So, I also tried to completely remove W3 Total Cache and re-install the plugin.
   Didn’t work. I tried to edit the footer again and I got another display problem.
   Now, the element’s border is gone completely, not only with the afforementioned
   link, but also with a second link in the footer.
 * If I disable the minifyer, the page is displayed correctly. But when I re-enable
   it, the error re-appears. Flushing cashes doesn’t change anything. The minifyer
   automatically removes unnecessary data from CSS. Probably, there’s removed too
   much or there’s still displayed an older saved version.
 * Here are two screenshots of the element with minifyer enabled and disabled:

 * Hello [@abhikr781](https://wordpress.org/support/users/abhikr781/),
 * thanks for your answer. I’ve already checked the whole Typography section in
   the customizer and the only spot where I can modify those fonts is Customizing/
   Typography/Widgets. And there, both areas are modified simultaneously. I also
   checked the custom CSS, nothing there either. I have no ides where this different
   font size comes from.
 * Is there any other spot in WordPress where I can affect those fonts? Or does
   anyone know which source files in the theme are responsible for defining the
   CSS for sidebar and footer? Maybe I can create a child theme and correct the
   CSS there…
