 * Hi [@girlieworks](https://wordpress.org/support/users/girlieworks/), Sorry for
   the late response!
 * > If the images themselves ended up being added to your Media Library, then
   > the importer did what it was supposed to do. 🙂
 * Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for me, maybe huge content was the issue.
 * Fortunately, I have done it manually buy uploading the uploads folder to the
   new wp-content dir and then did a search & replace in MySQL. 🙂

 * Hi [@girlieworks](https://wordpress.org/support/users/girlieworks/)
 * Thanks for the reply!
 * > Do you mean links to the images that are embedded within the posts themselves?
 * Yes you’re right.
 * Is there any other way to import these embedded media files properly? Coz, that
   WP importer plugin doesn’t do this job quite well.

 * Hi Matthew,
 * Thanks for your time,
 * I have an embedded theme plugin, which was creating the error. But after fixing
   the theme, I’ve noticed that most of my essential plugins aren’t compatible with
   4.3 yet.
 * So, I have downgraded my WP to 4.2.4 for now. 🙂

 * Try “Cookies for Comments” plugin. Additionally can use Http:BL API via Bad Behavior
   Plugin. It will help you to block major spamming ips.

 * > The plugin itself handles this by the way it links back from the tags site
   > to the REAL site. Google will not be angered.
 * I know, but the problem is the TAG site itself generating a separate page for
   each article/content, which can easily be crawled by Google.
    For example, if
   you publish one article on realsite.yourdomain.com (**realsite.yourdomain.com/
   article**), it will automatically be published on **tags.yourdomain.com**. Now
   if you open **tags.yourdomain.com (home)** and click on that article, you will
   be redirected to the real site(**realsite.yourdomain.com/article**). **BUT**
   you will be having another hidden page (**tags.yourdomain.com/article**) without
   any backlink of that original article. you can check this by typing manually.
   In my case, Google crawled few of those hidden pages instead of the original
   one.
