Hi Jonny,
no problem, looks like i will have to integrate some automated testing to ensure functionality.
That means that the good old google api has changed again. i’ll try to look at it today after work. (Or this weekend in case i am too flattened.)
Greetings,
wpshoffNo problem π
Hi jonny,
this error – do you get it on every post you update or just one?
Greetings,
wpshoffHi jonny,

wpshoffHello dorysp,
I don’t. But I don’t know acf either.
I’m sorry to be of no help in that matter.Greetings,
wpshoffHello Jonny,
after applying the patch you only need to reopen the posts with missing maps and save them again. Due to changes in the Google Api the plugin was not able to retrieve the coordinates from google. They are needed to display the map.
Your old posts are not affected.
To update the plugin just copy the content of the php file into the file with the same name on your hosting place. It is very comfortable to do so using the plugin editor in wordpress.

In reply to: [RomeLuv Google Maps for WordPress] The plugin does not work. Now it does again. Download the updated code from https://bitbucket.org/StHoffmann/romeluv-rework/ .
Use @ for entering coordinates directly.
an example would be
@123.45,456.22
where 123.45 is the latitude and 456.22 is the longitude.
Hello ramualdzabik/kingstakh,
thank you greatly for reporting the bug. The google API has changed again so the information for coordinates could not be downloaded automatically from google when entering an address.
I have updated the repository now.

Please check out the new version and report again, if you have additional trouble.

wpshoffHello ramualdzabik,

Hello kingstakh,
http://postbeschwerde.de/?p=121.
This is my testing page. You can clearly see, that it works.
So please show me proof that it does not work for you.
If you show me an example i may be able to reproduce or understand the error that you are encounting, which is the base for helping you.Thank you,

wpshoffHello and happy new year Pedro,
mh, actually no. I have been looking for something like romeluv before I tried to fix this. I found that fixing the romeluv plugin is easier than to find another plugin that does this.
There are tons of similar plugins out there, most of them still didn’t realize that the api has changed…Another thing is that unless there is something strange differently about the other plugin it will probably have the same issue with your theme.
Dont you know someone next door maybe, that you can invite over for a beer and then you both together have a look in the theme editor? Chances are good that, given enough beer, you will stumble over the suspicious code there and be happily ever after.

In reply to: [RomeLuv Google Maps for WordPress] Shortcode not workingHello siegmich,
i looked at the page. Since there is a bigger amount of script problems on the page i have problems pinpointing the exact problem for the map.
But i found that yoast seems to change some output of the romeluv plugin, unfortunately within the javascript part. I have patched the romeluv plugin to adapt. Could you update to the latest version and then give me a little post again so we can look if the situation has improved?

In reply to: [RomeLuv Google Maps for WordPress] Shortcode not workingAnd again, but for the last time.
See there are those & amp ; ‘s in the script src link. You’ll have to look into the sourcecode, because this support forum does not allow them to be posted and translates them already into simple &’s.
Anyways,
