PS: You can find a lot of Weglot helpers functions here : https://developers.weglot.com/wordpress/helpers-functions
Like weglot_get_current_and_original_language(), weglot_get_service(), and more
Youβre welcome π
Hello @christophdb
Indeed, this plugin does not seem to use the WordPress function for research. This is why the “Search WordPress” option cannot have effect on searches for this plugin.
Translation searches from Weglot is done from this code : https://github.com/weglot/translate-wordpress/blob/dev/src/actions/front/class-search-weglot.php
If you can intercept the search request before it is executed. You should be able to manage it with code that looks like:
$parser_services = weglot_get_service( 'Parser_Service_Weglot' ); $parser = $parser_services->get_parser(); $new_search = $parser->translate( $search_query, $toTranslateLanguageIso, $original_language );
Let me know if this information helped you π
Best regardsHello @miikewordpress,
We discovered that the hook might not work if called from a theme. We have updated our documentation with 2 new methods to do this. Please, can you try with these new methods and tell me if it works now on your site?
Best regards

Hello @princematli,
Thanks for your message.
Normally, addresses must be contained in “<address>” HTML tags. These tags are excluded by default in the plugin Weglot. I think you may use a custom template for wooccommerce emails? Can you confirm?If you use custom templates for Woocommerce emails and you are able to modify the code:
– You can use an “<address>” HTML tag or add the attribute data-wg-notranslate=”manual” to the HTML tag you use for the address element.If you use custom templates for Woocommerce emails, and you are not able to modify the code:
– you can add a CSS selector to exclude this block in the plugin options (WordPress admin > Weglot > Exclude Block section)I hope these information will help you to implement the solution.
If you need further help, please send me the HTML code of the concerned emails.
Let me know if you need any further information.

In reply to: [Translate WordPress and go Multilingual - Weglot] position to the leftHello @cecedem,
To do this, you can use this CSS code. You can add it via the options of the Weglot plugin.
.country-selector.weglot-default { left: 40px!important; right: auto!important; }
Let me know if it worked well for you,
Best regardsHello @menathor,
Weglot is designed to fully translate the front end of a site (including plugins and themes) but does not support translation of the WordPress back office.

Hello @zakaria7,
I am in charge of the development of the Weglot plugin. Can you give me the URL of the website where the problem occurs? I will look at this and try to bring you a solution.

In reply to: [Translate WordPress and go Multilingual - Weglot] WPML on intro pageHello @yusebs,
You can use the language selector wherever you want using a widget, menu, the shortcode
[weglot_switcher]
or the HTML code<div id="weglot_here"></div>
.And you can use this hook to deactivate the language selector on pages that are not the front page :
php add_filter( 'weglot_button_html', 'custom_weglot_button_html', 10, 2 ); function custom_weglot_button_html( $button_html, $add_class ) { if (!is_front_page()) { return ''; } return $button_html; }
Let me know if you have all you need now π

In reply to: [Translate WordPress and go Multilingual - Weglot] choice of languageHello @atipika,
You can delete the destination language, change the original language and then add the desired destination language again.
In your case, remove Italian from your destination languages. Change English to Italian for the original language. Then add English as the destination language.

In reply to: [Translate WordPress and go Multilingual - Weglot] Doesn’t translate anymoreHello @belandg,
I see in my dashboard that your site has exceeded the word limit, fixed at 10,000 during the trial period. You can show your word count here : https://dashboard.weglot.com/. You need to be under the word limit for Weglot can be work, or take a premium plan in accordance with the number of words on your site.
Best regards,
Yes, the Business plan allows you to have 50.000 translated words and to manage 3 different destination languages.
