What you need is something different. * I don’t think it’s possible to publish posts without an author assigned to them. But you can create a generic author for those and hide the mentions of that author on the site. You’ll see the “System Information” area, below that is an error log (empty if logging disabled) and below it “Plugin Info” with those numbers. * It’s possible that there are too many subscriptions so it’s hitting a limit. * The emails are sent out immediately after the comment is approved, there’s no built-in email queueing system.
