I used to use Scrivener (mac) to edit all my posts. Now I use Desk… but it crashes a lot so I’m just going to use the WordPress dash exclusively at this point. I did not have firewall on or configured from default prior to the issue. I am also using W3 Total cache in lieu of the caching that comes with Wordfence. Just letting you know in case you were wanting to know. I notice a couple of these IPs have moved to the “blocked from accessing the site ” altogether and that time frames seems really short. Less than 2 hours. Not sure where this is in my settings. Reason given is: login security settings * Maybe the “immediately block” option should be unchecked? I don’t think the average wordpress user wants anything to do with it at all. Wordfence is much easier. * The primary reason I’m using OSSEC is to protect the server I’m running. * Anyways, thanks for your answer.
