 * Only patience would help. Allow some time for Google to re crawl the website 
   and show the updated links. If you force-do something, Google might blacklist
   the domain.

 * I think it usually sets it for the WordPress itself. So any other plugin that
   sends email will use this SMTP

 * Hi,
 * Mostly a plugin conflict.
    Using FTP/cPanel File Manager, navigate to /wp-content
   and rename ‘plugins’ directory to something else. This will disable all the plugins.
   Try getting into Admin after this.
 * If you are able to get into it, you are doing good. Enable the plugins again,
   but one by one and spot the one which throws error.
