I tried that – eventually I worked it out by updating the theme.

Thanks for looking and I have posted specifically on the color mag theme forum no answers yet – I found a silimila issue on a nother site I manage but the php Warning text is displaying on the site also in the footer.
Im thinking it could be a bug with latest wordpress version and PHP version and the hosting, dotster.
here is on another site using another old theme,
Warning: Use of undefined constant php – assumed ‘php’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /wordpress/wp-content/themes/zerif-lite/footer.php on line 1

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] AnalyticsAh I see thanks – I have to dig down into my google analytics account for the site – Acquisition > Social > Plugins. it’s there but what about if the plugin had these stats in my wordpress dashboard or the plugin would help me gear my content in response to activity?

In reply to: Remove author from Feedyes i saw this but does not really resolve it,
the last post on this forum says
Just hook the_author filter and check is_feed if you want a RSS specific author.
function f_the_author( $display_name ) { // $display_name === string $authordata->display_name if ( is_feed() ) { return 'Static Feed Author Display Name Here'; } return "Static Author Display Name"; } add_filter( 'the_author', 'f_the_author', PHP_INT_MAX, 1 );
this makes no sense to me so where is the correct way?
