I opened a new Github issue to track this bug:

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Display author and users Badges within worpress/buddypress profileThis appears to be resolved

In reply to: [BadgeOS] A different WidgetAnything is possible π In the short term it would be faster to create a custom widget for what you want done. Here is the widget code file for reference:
Long term I’d suggest creating a Github Issue feature request for an option display setting.
You can download legacy versions of BadgeOS here:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/badgeos/developers/
There were no data changes in v1.1, so simply replacing the plugin is all you need to do.
Do you have any details on what broke? Any errors messages you could provide? If there is a conflict we’d love to fix it in the next release.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Custom Fields?If you are looking for the Custom Fields metabox, you could drop this code into your functions.php file to display it:
add_action( 'init', 'bos_add_post_type_support' ); function bos_add_post_type_support() { add_post_type_support( 'badge', 'custom-fields' ); }
Keep in mind many of the custom fields for BadgeOS are prefixed with an underscore, which hides them from displaying in the Custom Fields metabox.
CPTUI only registers your custom post types, it does not modify your theme or template files to show your new post type data as mentioned in the FAQ. Here’s a good tutorial on how to do that:

In reply to: [BadgeOS] A Badging We Will Go!! WhoahMartin I think we resolved your issues? I know the biggest issue was actually related to the way your theme was code and not BadgeOS.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Possible to add Custom Post Types?Martin the same code I shared for a new blog post trigger can be used for any CPTs or other plugins in WordPress. You just need to identify a good hook in the plugin to trigger the step.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Custom Steps and Auto AwardThis thread has some code that shows how to register a custom step using the badgeos_activity_triggers filter hook:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/award-for-a-blog-post-possible?replies=11#post-4223655
It’s very easy to register custom steps using that hook as shown. We’re working on more detailed documentation with additional examples and a detailed hook list at http://badgeos.org.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Leave a Reply not appearing on badges/task I createBadges don’t have the Discussion metabox enabled by default, so you can’t toggle comments on or off.
My guess is your theme is not verifying whether comments are enabled or not before displaying the “Leave a Comment” link, because that shouldn’t be shown on individual badge pages.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Any shortcodes for display of available badges?That should certainly work. I went ahead and added a bug Issue to Github so we can test and confirm the problem:
https://github.com/opencredit/badgeos/issues/33
I’m going to mark this complete so we can track it on Github.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Award for a blog post possible?Currently there is no way to trigger a badge when creating a new blog post in BadgeOS. However you can register your own triggers using the badgeos_activity_triggers filter.
Here’s an untested example:
add_filter( 'badgeos_activity_triggers', 'my_custom_triggers' ); function my_custom_triggers( $triggers ) { $triggers['save_post'] = __( 'Save a post', 'my-plugin' ); return $triggers; }
The key is the hook you’re following, the value is the output in the select box (and log entriesβ¦ and step title…)
We’re working on some detailed documentation to show code examples for extending BadgeOS. We hope to have that on http://badgeos.org soon
