  • I’m curious if you have pushed the update yet to AIOSEO? I’m currently experiencing the same issue with Toolset Views(3.1.3) and AIOSEO (3.4.2) and WordPress 5.4. I see that this is marked resolved, but I don’t have any pending updates for the AIOSEO plugin.

    Thanks.

Ok, this got a little crazy. So it seems the problem was not with the plugin or Zotero, but with our hosting. We use Windows to host in IIS, and what I found when I got into the problem was that the admin-ajax.php was returning a 404 error. So grabbing the url it was using, I pasted in another window to see if it would tell me more of what the error was. When I did this on the server, I got the full error message of 404.15 which is query string is too long. Apparently, by default in IIS, the query string is limited to 2048 bytes (apparently Apache defaults to around 8000). In IIS, you can go to your site, open request filtering, edit Feature settings, and adjust that and the overall url length. NOTE, you probably don’t want to do this by default. When you’re using a lot of citations though, since we have probably 60 a chapter, you’re going to need to up this.
