 * Thanks for your reply and the info! It’s possible to do it via ChatGPT, so I
   thought it might be possible here too. But, thanks for the clarification!

 * Hey again.
    I was able to get it to work on a different site, so you can consider
   this resolved.
 * Is it on the roadmap to create a dedicated Block in the future?
 * Thanks for your help!

    Is this a tested method? Because it didn’t work for me
   🙁 I tested on a local site (WordPress 5.5.3) running only TwentyTwenty and your
   plugin.
 * After inserting a Classic block, when I clicked on the Cart shortcode button
   nothing happened. There were no errors in the browser console.
    Not sure if I’m
   allowed to post a link to a screencast? I can provide one, if allowed.

 * The assets the test references are either coming from a 3rd party, like [http://fonts.googleapis.com](http://fonts.googleapis.com),
   which means you can’t control them, or being served via CloudFlare which means
   you should be able to adjust the settings there.

   I turned off that plugin, the Omnisearch results screen functioned as expected.

 * Hey Brandon,
    Thanks for the response! It’s a Vimeo video, so basically an iframe:`
   <iframe src="//player.vimeo.com/video/103027721?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0&color
   =940f11" width="280" height="158" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen
   allowfullscreen></iframe>`
 * So I’ve been looking at ways to add iframe to the allowed tags. But another option
   would be if the widget would allow shortcodes but those seem to get stripped
   out as well.
 * Thanks!

 * Hm, I have Display Widgets running on several 3.8 sites and it seems fine. So
   possibly it’s conflicting with something else you have running. You could troubleshoot
   by turning off your other plugins and seeing if it works that way. Then turning
   the others on one by one to see which generates the problem.

 * The comments are always viewable at the bottom of the individual post, e.g.

   [http://freethots.com/an-invention-to-end-all-speeding/](http://freethots.com/an-invention-to-end-all-speeding/)
 * On your homepage ([http://freethots.com/](http://freethots.com/)), you ideally
   should only display a paragraph or two from each post with a “read more” link
   that takes the reader to the full post. You do this by using the “read more”
   icon on your toolbar when editing a post.
 * Otherwise, once you have several posts published, your homepage will become far
   too long if you allow the posts to display in their entirety.

 * Have you tried using the plugin Display Widgets? It lets you hide or show widgets
   according to various criteria, including whether or not the user is logged in
   or out.

 * nRelate is a good one that won’t slow your site down, but if you want to be able
   to manually handpick the related posts then go with: [http://wordpress.org/plugins/microkids-related-posts/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/microkids-related-posts/)

 * In the Advanced Settings of the plugin there is a field for Custom Code. Have
   you tried to add the new code snippet into that field? I haven’t had a chance
   to test it for myself but I believe that should accomplish what is needed.
