Because it didn’t work for me 🙁 I tested on a local site (WordPress 5.5.3) running only TwentyTwenty and your plugin. * After inserting a Classic block, when I clicked on the Cart shortcode button nothing happened. So possibly it’s conflicting with something else you have running. You could troubleshoot by turning off your other plugins and seeing if it works that way. Have you tried to add the new code snippet into that field? I haven’t had a chance to test it for myself but I believe that should accomplish what is needed.
