I also switch from the Sharebar to Get Social. In the Options section, you can uncheck the setting to log actual redirects. I’m hoping that this will address the clutter of having to sift through 50+ pages of data on a daily basis. As you suggested, extending the length of the description really helped. The Google SERP no longer has any extra words in the description. Like I mentioned before I did not have this problem when I was using Headspace2. I have spent a significant amount of time migrating to WordPress SEO and configuring it and am determined to resolve this problem. * I would also like to go back to using the Sharebar. Unfortunately when I use it, I have “Tweet This Email This” appear in the MIDDLE of the first sentence of the Google SERP. This significantly affected the clickthrough rate until I deactivated it and temporarily switched to the FB Share button, which now adds“ Share” to the beginning of the description that Google is choosing to present.
