 * I fixed it, was placing the plugin code in the wrong place.

 * update: I changed the theme, and it works.
    So its confirmed to be a theme issue.
   Still haven’t figured it out, thanks!

 * Can anyone help me to show only part of the page content in the slider description,

 * Thanks a lot for your reply, very helpful…
    I’m using a static page and search
   all content works for this project. So i used the plugin Search Everything.
