 * yeah, i looked into those settings and turned off anything related to the comparison
   feature. I have never seen this before either. My client is not a happy camper
   as the site was supposed to be live by now. Im hoping someone can help me out
   soon.

 * both in the pages section of the admin area and on frontend of the site too. 
   I am not running any cache plugin.
 * I would send you to to the site but its not live yet, so you would need to edit
   your local hosts file to see the site.
 * Any ideas?
