The purpose behind using the custom folder to upload files was to avoid every file uploaded to the Media Library to appear on the page. It was caused by the Flying Scripts by WP Speed Matters plugin. We first deactivated the plugin, tested the form and it was able to send successfully. * We then re-activated it and found a “recaptcha” line in the settings, which prevented the recaptcha from working during a form submission.
