 * Hi [@cspiliakos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cspiliakos/) ,
 * Maybe one idea. Maybe, instead of plugin, will be ok if I can “modify” some rows
   where is written where to redirect when you click on (menu) My profile > Forum.

   With this I mean.. I think that the biggest problem is when I am on subsite and
   click on (menu) My profile > Forums …I get: – Topics created – Replies created–
   Favorite – Subscribed … but.. wordpress redirect me on main site.. and there
   for example under Favorites is JUST my favorites topics from MAIN site forum.
   The best will be if I can stay on subsite and get JUST favorites from subsite
   forum.
 * Example:
    I am registered on multisite and I was join to two subsites (1 and
   2). Than: 1. When I am on Subsite1 and click on My profile > Forum …than I stay
   on Subsite1 and I get my forum activities (topics created, replies created, favorites)
   JUST from Subsite1 2. Than when I am on Subsite2 and click on (menu) My profile
   > Forum …than I stay on Subsite2 and I get my forum activities (topics created,
   replies created, favorites) JUST from Subsite2 3. When I am on Main site and
   click on My profile > Forum …than I stay on Main site and I get my forum activities(
   topics created, replies created, favorites) JUST from Main site
 * ..probably somewhere is written where wordpress redirect you when you click somethink..
   and as I say before.. if I can modify that I can stay on same site when clicking
   on My profile > Forum …will be ok.
    And also the same for other users… if I am
   on subsite forum and click on some user – that I stay on same site and get user
   forum activities just from this site forum. What do you think?
 * Kind regards

 * Hi everyone again,
 * Maybe a little more explanation.
    The main problem is if you are (on multisite
   installation) on one site forum and you click on author of reply (one site user)–
   than you are redirected on main site > user forum activity – but here you can
   see user activity (topics created, replies created) just from main forum (not
   on subsite forum).
 * So.. how can I modify that when I click (on subsite forum) on author of reply
   that I will STAY on subsite and I get user activity on subsite forum.
 * Example:
    Let say we have Subsite1 and Subsite2 and both have forum. UserA is
   user of both subsite. Than (I wish to have): – I am on subsite1 forum and look
   for one of UserA reply… when I click on UserA I see UserA profile and: > UserA
   topics created > UserA replies created ..but all this (user forum activity) JUST
   from Subsite1
 * or..
 * – when I am on subsite2 and look for UserA reply… when I click on UserA I see
   UserA profile and:
    > UserA topics created > UserA replies created ..but all
   this JUST from Subsite2
 * and..
 * – when I am on main site and look for UserA reply… when I click on UserA I see
   UserA profile and:
    > UserA topics created > UserA replies created ..but all
   this JUST from main site
 * How can I modify this?
 * Thank you
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@cspiliakos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cspiliakos/) ,
 * No problem for a little delay.. I just think that you dont know what I mean..

   Yes you are right, your suggested plugin from WPMUDEV is not suitable in my case.
   I also search for something like I need on envato market (and before also in
   plugin directory here) but dont find something similar.. maybe there is something
   like that but I dont find.
 * > I would check something made for the forum plugin you’re using, as you’ve mentioned
   > that you want something for forums
 * How can I do this, that mentioned that I want something for the forum? Somewhere
   else must open “ticket” or here in this topic make an explanation?
 * Kind regards

 * Hi,
 * I found what can be wrong 🙂 I search and search arround settings what can be
   wrong and something found.. but than come another problem
 * 1.) The first, problem was (if you are on site admin panel) under Settings>Forums
   there is option “Auto role”. As default this is picked and selected Participant.
   Then when User come to Site, your plugin “thoughts” (because Participant forum
   role is automatically added) that User is registered to Site and “Join to site”
   button is not visible.
 * It is very strange because User (before visiting site) is not registered on Site
   but just on main site
 * 2.) Then I switch off “Auto role” for forums and plugin works. “Join button”
   is there. If User join the site, this is also visible on list of site users which
   is OK and User also get this Site under My sites which is also OK.
 * 3.) But than there is another problem. This User can not go Site forum (404 is
   appears). OK, on one side this is logical because User dont have forum role (
   because Settings>Forums>Auto role is disabled). But on the other hand if User
   is logged out, he can see Site forum 🙂
 * I am now a little confused 🙂
 * Can you test this?
 * Solution:
    Maybe is solution (if you maybe still dont have solution) that you
   create that your plugin choose or overwrite also Forum role. Under your plugin
   settings there is setting “New User Default Role”. Here maybe must also be “New
   User Default Forum Role”.
 * What do you think? Maybe you already have a solution?
 * Kind regards

 * Ok I will try.. it is currently on local host so it is not so big problem to
   try this
 * > per site it saves the option helfjmm_options
 * Where I can see this?

 * Hi [@ipstenu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ipstenu/),
 * Thanks for the answer. If I pick “automatic” is similar. UserA is automatically
   added to site list of site users, only difference is that when UserA come on
   site there is no message “Nice to see you again”.
    The same as if I pick “automatic”
   is if I pick “None” – also UserA become user of site automatically and on site
   is no message “Nice to see you again”.
 * Only what works with this plugin is that which default role is choosen when join
   to site. If I (on settings of “Join my multisite” plugin) change which default
   role is choosen – I can see this modification under one other plugin which manage
   with Roles.
 * I have installed some other plugins but works OK.
 * Have you an idea what can be wrong?
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@cspiliakos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cspiliakos/)
 * You are right how WP works.. maybe I was not sufficiently enough. I will try
   to write on the other way:
    – UserA registered on main site so become member
   of main site – UserA go to subsite Site1 (just visit) – here WP works that UserA
   automatically become member of Site1 (I dont wish this)
 * My wish is:
    – UserA go to Site1 – he is just visitor – on Site1 there is button“
   Join to site” – UserA (if he wish) click on button “Join to site” and become
   member of site and this is visible under site members (site admin can see this)–
   on the same button now (when UserA is member of Site1) is written out “Leave
   the site” – if UserA click this, he is removed from list of site members
 * I found something – plugin “Join to site” – is something like I wish… but for
   now I dont tested it yet. I will try and see what happened 🙂
 * Kind regards

 * Hi [@cspiliakos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cspiliakos/)
 * This plugin wordpress-user-synchronization is not very helpful for me.. is something
   else, I need different function.
    I need just that under list of sites there
   will be button JOIN SITE. My wish is the same as group works. When user is on
   the list of groups, there is button Join group, and after click on Join group
   user become member of group.
 * Multisite as default works like that if user just visit site, become member/user
   of site and I dont wish that..
 * So… if is possible to set the following:
    – UserA visit Site1 –> he just view
   contect of it – UserA JOIN SITE –> he become member/user of site (and site admin
   can see his profile under site users)
 * Is this possible to set?
 * Kind regards

 * Hi Nikolay,
 * Thanks for the answer. It not help a lot… at least I think so.. 🙂
    My problem
   is not that I wish get some role for new user for all sites… Maybe I dont write
   sufficiently precise. I give more explanation: – userA is registered and create
   subsites Site1, Site2, Site3 (public sites) – userB is registered and get some
   role (for example Member) but JUST on main site – userB go to Site1 – because
   currantly he is not member of subsite he can just view content of subsite – userB
   click on button JOIN TO SITE – he become member of subsite and now he can for
   example write on wall, create topic on forum etc..
 * Is this possible to achieve?
    So, when new user is registered he become member
   JUST on main site. And than he decide if he will be member of which subsites..
   Maybe with some settings or maybe there is some plugin for this?
 * Best regards
