But it has been resolved, already. * I figured it out a little bit before that screenshot was taken, apparently. * The theme has the option to force header image to be responsive. I checked that box and the gap between the menu ans the top of the page disappeared. It was as simple as that, but I had not realized until some hours after my last reply here. * Since I had no image on header, I had paid no attention to that check box. Actually, I am using no child theme at all. * By the way, I already tried deactivating each plugin, one by one, and erasing the css… even taking down the ads on the header (a slider with a short code), but nothing solved the issue.
