 * [@maerk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/maerk/): but in some instances you
want to be able to filter out everyone that is a registered user. There should
be some kind of functionality to allow administrators to approve or deny registrants
   access.
 * If anyone knows of any plugin or hack that will do what I’m talking about, **
please** email me at creativity (dot) unleashed (at) gmail (dot) com.
 * Thanks! Hopefully we’ll see something like this built into wordpress eventually.

 * I wholeheartedly agree. I’ve looked for other ways to do this but can find nothing
   that works with wordpress 2.1.
 * Does anyone have any suggestions?
