In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Hotspot limitHi there,
Where is your website hosted? It looks like you have run into a server issue which is a limitation of your hosting company’s PHP configuration. This is a common problem for images with lots of areas. Basically, PHP has a setting for max_input_vars which is probably set to 1000 on your server. Basically this controls how much data your PHP configuration will read when a page is submitted. Anything beyond that is cut off. Unfortunately there is nothing in our code that can read this data, because it never reaches WordPress at all – it gets truncated before the page even starts to load.
We are looking into a long term solution (ie. setting up pages for images with lots of highlightable areas), but for your immediate issue the quickest solution would be to contact your hosting company and ask:
“Can you please increase the PHP max_input_vars to 5000 for my installation? I have an application that is failing because the limit is set too low (it looks like 1000 right now)”
They should be able to accommodate this request. If you have access to php.ini or depending on your configuration you might be able to do the increase yourself. This is the documentation page for a different WordPress product affected by the same issue that has some good details and instructions:http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-menu-item-limit
I hope this helps, unfortunately the script just requires more resources to run with that many shapes so there’s just a limit by the server it’s installed on right now.

In reply to: [ACF: TablePress] Logged in / Logged out issueWell, it seems I spoke too soon regarding how unfixable this problem might be… version 1.3.2 is on the repo and should fix the display issue with “HTML Output” after all. You should see an update available in your dashboard.

In reply to: [ACF: TablePress] Logged in / Logged out issueHi Toby—
Sorry you’re having trouble! I’m definitely seeing your issue with the HTML output! Are you using ACF v. 4 or v. 5?Re: the ID output issue, when you switched between methods (HTML output > ID output), are you updating/re-publishing the post/page that the form is selected from after you’ve edited the field group? The post/page will not update which output it uses until you publish/update again. The behavior I’m seeing in your screenshot ( … table not found) is what I would expect if you pass the “html output” to
do_shortcode()
.Meanwhile I’ll definitely look into what’s up with the HTML output!
Best,
PhilHi Gene,
Thanks for the message, we’ll look at adding the alt text from the media library in a future release. All the clickable areas (from the image map) and the detail images loaded from the media library should have alt text already, but we could add it for the main image as well 🙂

In reply to: Unable to login to my WordPress siteHi there—
We’ve pushed an update to acf-tablepress that now includes the latest version of tgm-plugin-activation.php (2.5.2).
Best,
PhilHi there, I just tried to see the issue you’re describing but it’s working when I test in FireFox and Chrome. Can you let us know which browser and operating system you’re using when you see this issue so we can look into it further? Thanks!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Responsive templateHello amisha2891,
We’d like to eliminate conflicts with the theme you’re using or other plugins you have installed.
The best way to do this is to disable all other plugins temporarily and/or switch to another theme to see if the issue goes away.
We’re happy to take a look and help you do this if you can send us a login to support@tylerdigital.com.

In reply to: [Simple Client Dashboard] iThemes Security visibleWe’d love to help you get this working, Scott. Could you provide the following information about your installation?
- What version of iThemes are you using? Is it the latest version?
- Are you using the latest version of Webmaster User Role?
- What theme and version are you using?
- Have you tried disabling all of the plugins one-by-one to isolate the problem?
- Any other information that you think may be important.

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] ImprovementsThat’s very odd, but I guess if you’ve got it working as 2 separate scripts we can’t argue with success 😉

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] image does not appearDo you see the “Clickable Area” sections at the bottom of the edit screen? And the button to add more clickable areas? If you can send a screenshot of your admin screen or a login it would help us figure out what’s going on. Thanks!

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] image does not appearIt only overrides the colors you’ve selected for that image, it doesn’t modify the rest of your website 🙂

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] image does not appearHi Sandra, sorry you’re having trouble! Sometimes the drawing area starts out collapsed. Can you try clicking the little arrow on the right hand side of the Clickable Area #1 box? It’s also possible there’s a conflict with another plugin you have installed. If you’re still having trouble please send us an admin login to support@tylerdigital.com and we’ll get it fixed for you!
Thanks,

In reply to: [Interactive Image Map Plugin - Draw Attention] Useful additional featuresHi Craig,
It wouldn’t do that “out of the box”, but we built it to be flexible, so you can actually put a shortcode in the More Info area. Meaning, you could put a Gravity Form or Ninja Form for each area and collect feedback from people 🙂
Thanks,
Nathan
