Thanks for responding. Following removing Jetpack and finding the problem remains, I’ve realised it’s the theme I’m using.
I have never managed to get the Jetpack sharing with Facebook or Twitter. In fact I’ve given up and am using something else to do it.
Hello? This problem appears only to affect my admin view – when I look from another browser it’s not there. Still very annoying for me though.
Love the look of this theme but need to ask a couple of questions as it’s not quite right yet –
Is it possible to change the color of the navigation bar with CSS? I really need it to be black (instead of red).
Is it possible to remove the square tab with the post date on from the left of the title?
As somebody above has said, I too have multiple contributors and so need to have authors listed – I’m using a plugin to achieve this, but it means having the date posted twice.
One more thing – is it possible to change the width of the right hand column? – it’s a bit too wide.
Please can you tell me how to remove the featured image thumbnail from the home page posts (next to title)?
Also, I cannot get the header image home page link to work – I created a functions.php file including the script you wrote above and added it to the child theme but it does not work. Did I do it correctly?
Also, Is it possible to remove the white line at the bottom of the pages?
Very ugly big white line: http://spankyrobot.com/about/
Thank you very much. Excellent theme and support.
I copied the link to category view I need incorrectly – here is the correct link:
(this is my current theme)
Okay all fixed.
There are some problems with the Nishita theme linked above – the functions.php file does not have closing php tag, and the dark.css option does not load – easily fixed by adding the tag (obviously!) and I got the dark skin to work by making a child theme and adding the dark.css to the style.css of that.
Thank you for your help.
Well, I figured how to download it. Installed and all works fine except for the dark option has no effect.
