Unfortunately it seems i am unable to disable this setting. If i uncheck “Clean existing Roles” and save settings successfully, then refresh the settings, the options is still enabled. Also – was it a good idea to have this setting enabled by default? – suspect it might cause issues similar to mine for several users.
