 * I managed to contact avada regarding this issue who responded straight away. 
   It seems the widget was not providing a search string. For anyone else having
   this issue with impress listings and avada this is how you resolve it.
 * To resolve, you need to edit Avada/search.php
 * Find and remove:
    && strlen( trim(get_search_query()) ) != 0
 * That prevents results from showing when the search string is empty.
 * Also make sure that when creating taxonomies the id does not have a capital letter
   which is the mistake I made.

 * Hi yes I have activated the 2015 theme and search works but does not with the
   avada theme. I cannot change the theme as the site is fully built using this 
   so looking for any help to overcome this problem as I really want to use the 
   plugin.
