Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: New Site UnavailableCheck to make sure that the subdomain is pointing to the right place. Navigate to /wordpress/ off you main domain and find out if you are seeing the same thing (since they should be identical). If not, check to make sure the addon domain is configured correctly.
As well, it looks like active directory is working so it doesn’t look like that is the path to your wordpress folder index…..

In reply to: .htaccess redirects from WP to wp.comThe redirection in the .htaccess is great tip! I decided as well to keep a backup copy of my own blog that is not on wordpress.com to redirect to the one that is by using the plugin called “Moving Your Blog”. Nice if you just want to redirect your blog without actually taking it completely offline (as in my case for backup).

Something to keep in mind if you ever come across a situation like mine!

In reply to: Gallery Integration? Not sure whether you want a standalone program that integrates well like gallery2, but this plugin makes the gallery show up in your blog as a page:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpg2/
Also check out all the gallery plugins at the following URL:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=gallery

In reply to: WP Stats plugin not workingThe plugin hook just references the footer file and adding code to it. If the theme doesn’t reference that call, it just can’t add the plugin code. A little strange, but logical in many ways 😉

In reply to: Upload on different HostNothing jumps out at me either, but maybe there is another uploading plugin out there somewhere. Easiest is to just FTP to the new domain/host and then link the file….

In reply to: ‘Troj/Unif-B’ trojanThe discussion is also over at http://bbpress.org/forums/topic/x-victoryru-exploit?replies=10#post-11991 and it seems there might be an issue with the host and not theme.

In reply to: ‘Troj/Unif-B’ trojanI have searched through the download file since it was re-uploaded after a server crash and the only thing that was in there was a javascript for the anarchy-media plugin that was left over from my own modifications to the original theme. I have got rid of that line and the download is clean and reloaded to the server. Could someone look it over as well and confirm what I am seeing.

In reply to: Uploading Photos with CommentsI haven’t ever seen an uploader for people who leave comments on your site. Just the plain old img tags to an external image I am afraid.

In reply to: Blog Entry BlankSome people I know get so paranoid about losing data in posting that they save copies and post to their blog with programs like wbloggar and blogdesk. Copy and paste works for me 😉
