So I see that we replied to your email via our ticketing system some time ago.
So the “Allow users who register on your site as WordPress users to subscribe to the MailPoet list (in addition to the” WordPress Users” list)” feature works to assign the subscribers registered using the default WordPress user registration form, and it adds the user to a second MailPoet list in addition to the WordPress Users list.
That’s because there’s a MailPoet checkbox that is added to the default WordPress User registration, but it’s not present in your custom registration form.
It seems you’re using the User Registration plugin, is that correct? Unfortunately, I asked for our devs’ help and they haven’t found how to extend the form with our checkbox when using this plugin.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience and for not having any workaround for that at the moment.

So I see that you have a Starter plan on your account.
Starter Plan doesn’t give you access to the Premium features of the MailPoet plugin so the notice you see is expected. But you can still send out your emails, create newsletters, etc successfully.
