Add the images you don’t want to appear in your post gallery to the Media Library. * Copy the link to each image and use the plain ‘ol Insert/edit image button (or img from HTML view) in the post. However, my host offers SimpleScripts. So I used it to install WP 2.5.1 – works like a charm. I don’t usually like ‘automated’ installs, but you can’t argue with results.
