Now I have another question, if you don’t mind. Both the first and last names are checked and set to ‘optional’ on the pull-down menu. As long as I leave them checked and optional, do I still need to worry about keeping or removing those entries in the response emails, etc., even if people choose not to fill in those fields? Thanks for reaching out. My biggest problem w/ the plugin was just getting it to work in my sidebar. I finally figured out how to do that on my own (embarrassingly simple), but it’s still not how I would like it. The Newsletter Plugin seems to have three widget choices, but I wasn’t able to edit any of them to look like I wanted. For example, I currently have the subscribe link in the (right hand) sidebar of my website, but I only want subscribers to fill in their first name& email address. No matter what I do, the ‘Last Name’ field always shows up. Ideally, I’d like that field to be named ‘Last Name (optional)’ But I can’t seem to edit it. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks again for your willingness to help.
