 * Oh, my clients really can’t afford the Pro version. I can’t approach Pro sales
   on their behalf because there is no chance that they could pay for it. I just
   need to know the steps to make the staging site live for a WordPress site hosted
   through Dreamhost without using the Pro version. Seriously, there is no chance
   that they could or would purchase the Pro version.

 * Thanks, this helped a lot! I disabled the debugging messages and got back into
   WordPress, and I switched the theme to TwentyTwentyFive. Things seem like they’re
   working well right now. I am a little concerned about the must-use plugins. I
   suspect that there might be an underlying issue with those, but I’d rather not
   tamper with them right now. I understand that can violate the terms of hosting
   services, and my client is considering switching to a different host anyway.
