I think that makes sense – I am not super concerned about the theme feature updates so at this point I don’t think should be a factor.. Just so I understand the Child theme – are updates by the theme author basically the only reason that one would use the Child theme backup method? Sorry maybe my description was a little confusing. Basically, what I want to do is have a fixed table on the page. This table would have a dropdown menu above it with a bunch of selections. Based on which selection the user made, different data would populate the table — by this I mean entirely separate discrete sets of data would populate and fill all 4 rows. Thanks for the speedy response! I actually saw something about that on w3schools as searching on this.. Was hoping that perhaps it was something the Theme developers knew about could fix as I’m a little if-y on CSS editing, but will take a look nonetheless and see what happens.. * Thanks!
