In reply to: WordPressin version 5.0.2 database errorObvioysly there was some conflict with localized WP and autoupdated WP, because my dashboard says that I have a version 5.0.2 and now it works fine. Probably prevenenting autoupdate was a part fix.
I also deleted all twenty-something themes via FTP, and now mys site thinks that it is updated, even the last version from my backups was updated 13.12.2018
For plugins and themes, the safest way to upgrade may be install updated versions via FTP?
Anyway all is working now. π

If you not wanting to use Gutenberg, you can install Classic Editor WordPress plugin, which hides Gutenberg.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg is a forum not an editorI think that Gutenberg was a nasty suprise for many people (including me).
My suggestion is that when now Gutenberg is bolted in WordPress as default, there should be an option to use an old editor as default too.
