    Install required plugin

NavMenu Addon For Elementor recommends the following plugin: Elementor Addons & Widgets. Begin installing plugin | Dismiss this notice

Something went wrong with the plugin API. Plugin not found.

I have the same problem after 5.5 upgrade.

Can’t add media, can’t add a link, can’t use text edit mode.
    I assume it’s a plugin conflict but I haven’t identified the source.

This is absolutely the most stupid piece of useless garbage since Windows 8: taking everything you COULD do with WordPress and throwing most of it out the window. Users can now look forward to spending hours finding a way to perform a simple task like adding a link to an image… Congratulations: I finally found a reason to consider Drupal or whatever else is out there again. Those who sell themes will find their market evaporating. I certainly won’t be buying any now.

This is a total disaster – Impossible to teach anything useful to end users. This is the undoing of WordPress. It was nice while it lasted. I had WordPress training for my customers, now totally wasted, along with the investment. I can’t say anything strong enough to fully express my frustration with this garbage.

If it ain’t broke, why sabotage everything? Dumb, stupid, useless, frustrating, time-wasting, unfriendly, obtuse… the list goes on and on and on.
