 * I have the same issue with our store. All variable products are set to “Sync 
   and hide” which means we can not use them for our Instagram promotions and are
   not correctly displayed on the Facebook store. Error on Facebook is the same 
   as OP.
 * Products are published. It does seem like we can not change this to “Sync and
   show” manually in Woocommerce? I found a workaround today to set visibility to
   true manually in the Catalog manager.
