 * I had the same issue as the poster. I just created a page called “home” and another
   called “blog” and set the read options to static “home” page and posts to go 
   to the “blog” page. In that case the slider shows up on both “home” and “blog”
   pages.
 * I used the css display:none which removes it from my blog page, but I’m curious
   why it’s necessary. Are you saying it shouldn’t show up there to begin with?
