 * **Sorry, seems this issue had nothing to do with woocommerce**, my FTP was going
   to the wrong directory! Newb mistake. Please ignore this post.

 * Thank you Mike Jolley for your help, I really enjoy your help to this matter.
   Just for the sake of sharing, it seems that one of the plugins ‘WooChimp’ had
   lost it’s license key ( perhaps through when updating things ) but once that 
   license key was put back in place everything seemed to work. Thanks again for
   your support, wp-mail-logging was very useful. Cheers!

 * I thought I fixed it by making the blog posts category under the news category
   but that doesn’t work because then the news category shows both news and blog
   posts.
