   exactly the same issue.
 * In my case it’s caused by the ‘Filter Long URL Strings’ option under ‘System 
   Tweaks’.
 * With that option checked, requests involving JSON data (example below) were showing
   a 414 error (URI too long) in the Chrome dev console.
 * `https://example.com/wp-json/google-site-kit/v1/modules/analytics/data/report?
   metrics%5B0%5D%5Bexpression%5D=ga%3Ausers&metrics%5B0%5D%5Balias%5D=Total%20Users&
   startDate=2021-02-24&endDate=2021-03-23&compareStartDate=2021-01-27&compareEndDate
   =2021-02-23&url=https%3A%2F%example.com%2F&_locale=user`
 * The issue doesn’t seem to affect data being collected by Analytics, it only affects
   analytics data being displayed within the Site Kit plugin so, keeping the ‘Filter
   Long URL Strings’ option checked until a solution becomes available at least 
   won’t ruin your data!

 * Hi – turns out it’s a conflict with a plugin that’s necessary for my theme – 
   Colors Creative (Openmarco) Essentials. Is there anything that can be done from
   your end, or do I need to get support from them?
