 * Thx I’ll give that a shot. I have to try and recover the old data first. Do you
happen to know how to revert bac to the old version? I at least need to see if
I can get to my blog at all in that version to retrieve the data.

 * So I’m not sure what files I need to be uploading or exactly where. I am able
to use the file mgr on my host server to upload anything I want. I have uploaded
the wp-ocnfig-php file as instructed on the 5 min install. I also uploaded the
entire zipped version 2.9.1 as well. Please help with any info you have as to
what all I need to be uploading and where exactly.

 * This is correct except that I am not only unable to login but I am also rerouted
   to the original upgrade page.
 * I am currently trying to figure out what all I need to copy into my host server.
How do I determine whether the file and folder structures are correct?

 * Well unfortunately this is not my first time. I have an established blog linked
to my JustHost acct website. I was using it last night! Today when I hit my home
tab which takes me to the blog I was prompted by the 5 min install. Now on this
particular laptop I’m using I had never downloaded WP software and just used
my access to the dashboard to make changes to the site/blog. I have since downloaded
the latest version and am still unable to access the blog. I am guessing there
is some step I’m missing that should allow me to gain access to my blog. I am
just hoping what was previously posted and saved in the dashboard is lost.
 * I also received the prompt to upgrade using the 5 min install from a different
laptop that did have the old software on it. Hope this adds clarity to the issue
and gets us closer to a solution.
 * When u say to install it on my host server are you suggesting I go to the html
code for my justhost account and add some of the code I downloaded in this new
version to the tab that sends me to the blog? Hope that made sense. Thanks again

 * Thx for the quick reply. Sorry. I went thru the upgrade process but was unable
to login. I just get redirected to the upgrade page. I then attempted the manual
download and attempted the upgrade again. I went thru the steps for the 5 min
install but am not sure what to do about the upload step and anything beyond
   that pretty much.

 * OH yeah and I have yet to receive any email confirmation. Nor have I obviously
been able to go through the upload everything step since I cannot access my blog
   at all.
 * Thanks again.
