 * Hi,
 * It looks like a permalink issue. You can simply resolve it by resetting permalinks
   from Settings > Permalinks tab on your wp-admin area.
 * Let me know if that does not resolve the issue. I’ll investigate further in that
   case.

 * Hi dmviolin,
    This issue may happen if the file is not available on the url or
   if you’ve used different protocol for file url & site url. By protocol, it means
   if your site uses https:// you need to make sure the pdf file url you use also
   starts with [https://](https://wordpress.org/support/users/themencode/replies/page/2/?output_format=md).
 * Please let me know if the issue is still not resolved after ensuring same url
   structure.
