    Hi,

Pardon me for asking but how should the optimization plugin I’m using (WP-rocket), be relevant to additional pictures/images on my website?

I will be happy to understand what those pictures are and where I could see/find them on my website in order to manage them

    Kind Regards,

How could I measure what real people see?

I am testing my website with respect to 2 others. while on GTmetrix I score first as of the loading times with 2-5seconds while the others are 5-10. on pingdom I score 15second while the others 3-5 seconds.

Hence I don’t know if I should conclude my website to be optimized well or not (in addition, the grading should be overlookedso this makes it even harder to know if the website is optimized well or not).

what would be the best way to measure the loading time and site speed?

    GTmetrix (Fully loaded time)? Pingdom?

I have tried the autoptimize free version, but it didn’t do much.
I have decided to give a try to wp-rocket and bought a license, it indeed boosted things up and my loading time at GTmetrix was reduced from 5-7 second to 2-3.

Did you pay for any of the plugins you are using or did you only use the free versions?
Do you share the view of WP-rocket supremacy upon other plugins: WP fastest cache, css minify and/or automatize?

    Hi Steve,

I would like to achieve good SEO rates and most of all to have a good user experience with this. in order to achieve that I believe the site should be fast and so I am trying my best to reach good scores.

As of the loading time I have to say this is a bit beyond me, because when testing with different sites I get different results.
Most of my times are around 3-7 seconds. I understand that a good score on this should be at about 1-2 second and hence I’m trying to improve.

So far I have gotten a CDN and used WP-Rocket. I have yet to try removing the site to a VPS server.
Do you have any suggestions in order for me to reach better results and loading times (While on GTmetrix and PageSpeed my loading sites are very good comparing to others it is still I keep reaching lower loading time average when using dotcom-tools to check the loading times from several servers).

    Kind Regards,

    Hi James,

I am using Generate Press and Elementor.
Do you think this has to do with it?
if so, how could I reduce the number of fonts?

P.s. I have checked all the links with wp-content. It seems they all indicate the elementor folder in wp-content.

    Thank you James

I am using WP-rocket and was wondering if it has the ability to do such concetination.

the reason I’m asking is because I know I should reduce the amount of plugins I’m using in order to reach optimal results.

    Hi James,

    Thank you for your reply.
I have been trying to turn off some of the plugin that might be relevant for fonts.
Also I deleted all fonts I previously installed on elementor.
Unfortunately this didn’t result with any change with the number of fonts.

    What am I missing?

I recently found this code :

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on [NC] [OR]
    RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !443
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]

do you think it will help me to overcome this problem?

Update: I have tried both but non seem to be helping to solve this.
Any idea what could I do in order to overcome this?
