In reply to: How do I target individual thumbnail sizes?Hey thanks for the reply.
My theme is already creating the new thumbnail sizes with set_post_thumbnail_sizeThe theme is creating about 3 various sizes.
I’m just confused on how to use these individual sizes in various areas of my website. I may need to look further into my theme code, i’m just no professional with php or mysql
Figured out my own way.
Thanks for the help.Here’s my code:
<div class='thumb'> <?php if(has_post_thumbnail()) { $image_src = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id(),'thumbname' ); echo '<a class="box" href="#" style="background-image:url(' . $image_src[0] . ');"></a>'; } ?> </div><!-- thumb -->
Where thumb was my container (image, text, etc).
Instead of using <img src.. i used a link class and gave the link a width and height of 200px;Going to fix the sizes from here but that’s the gist.
Just haven’t used css within html in a long time… used to using .css always.
I suppose I could manually create each thumbnail to size.
Ridiculously familiar.
Can I set the featured image as a css background?
I was just looking into it before your reply.hrm… i wish there were another way.
the problem is that my largest images can be drastically larger, and it varies when those images might show to viewers.Will the nexgen gallery take only my featured images and display them in gallery form on my home page?

In reply to: [Infinite-Scroll] Cannot figure CSS selectorsI have:
content selector: #container .content
navigation selector: #pagination
next selector: #pagination .nav-previous alignleft a:first
item selector: #posts_bellow<div id='pagination'> <div class="nav-previous alignleft"><?php next_posts_link( 'Older posts' ); ?></div> <div class="nav-next alignright"><?php previous_posts_link( 'Newer posts' ); ?></div> </div>
#pagination{} #pagination .nav-previous alignleft a{} #pagination .nav-previous alignright a{}
I can’t even get it to slightly work.

In reply to: [WordPress Related Posts] Thumbnail IssueI am having an issue with the thumbnails.
My website in use is http://www.devilonadinosaur.comThumbnails were showing fine until I updated to the most recent version of this plugin, which was a few weeks ago I think.
Uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling doesn’t work.. the plugin seems to save all of the previous information that I had in the settings for it, so this might be an issue for what’s wrong with the thumbnails.
I noticed that today, finally, one related article had the correct thumbnail, all others remain custom thumbnails that came with the plugin.
Have tried other plugins but this one seems to be my favorite, hoping the thumbnail issue can be fixed.

In reply to: Random margin on my H1 titles?Had to add a negative margin of 3 to fix the alignment. Not sure where that 3px margin is coming from, but I guess a quick fix is better than none.
Thanks for the help though

In reply to: Random margin on my H1 titles?Also, I’ve tried setting just the h1 and h2, which is pretty pointless since the subclasses are set.
The code is working as it should for my category, which is an H2. Just not working for my H1, which is only used once in my entire coding for my titles, no where else.

In reply to: Random margin on my H1 titles?This is my coding.
#post_holder .title{width: 528px; height: 40px; float: left; position: relative;}
#post_holder .title h1 a{font: 300 14px ‘Novecentowide-Bold’, arial; color: #fff; text-decoration: none; margin: 0 0 0 10px;}
#post_holder .title h1 a:hover{color: #dfdfdf;}<div id=”post_holder”>
<div class=’title’><h1>” rel=”bookmark””><?php the_title(); ?></h1></div>
</div>This is a common sense problem for me, there’s something else in my coding doing this. Plus.. my font size is just as I want it, especially since it’s defined in my coding by font: 300 14px ‘Novecentowide-Bold’
The problem is the upper margin pushing my title down.
So my category and title look like this:
Category
TitleWhen it should be:
Category Title
Heights are the same, font sizes are as I need. There’s an invisible margin being added from nowhere.

In reply to: Random margin on my H1 titles?Hey I do have the font size defined.
.title h1 a{font: 300 14px ‘Novecentowide-Bold’, arial; color: #fff; text-decoration: none;}

In reply to: Random margin on my H1 titles?Also… I have a containing height of 40px.
My line height for both my categories and my titles is 40px… but when I remove my line height for the title… it’s still pushed down.Line height only seems to be working for my categories and something else is forcing the push on my titles.
